EHR / EMR Solutions

Less friction in your systems. More focus on your patients.

Make your clinical systems work better for the people who use them. SeriousIT helps practices plan transitions, connect workflows, improve day-to-day use, and coordinate ongoing support across their software and technology.

Start where you are

A new system. A better setup.
A team to help.

You don’t need a replacement project to make progress. Start with the work you want to improve.

01

Choose or change a system.

Opening a practice, adding locations, or considering a replacement? Start with your specialty, workflows, and the systems that need to connect.

02

Make your system work better.

Repeated data entry, awkward handoffs, and recurring support issues deserve a closer look. Find the changes that will make the everyday work easier.

What we take on

Support for the whole practice workflow.

The application is one part of the picture. We connect planning, people, information, devices, and vendor responsibilities around the way your practice delivers care.

01

Selection & readiness

Document clinical and administrative requirements, specialty needs, existing integrations, and costs. Compare the options with your practice leaders and confirm what a change will involve.

02

Implementation & transitions

Coordinate configuration, infrastructure readiness, vendor work, and a staged launch. Build a plan for testing, staff preparation, downtime, and support before the first appointment on the new system.

03

Data migration & access

Plan the movement of records with the application vendors, define how the practice will validate them, and retain an agreed path to historical information. Map roles and permissions before opening access.

04

Integrations & handoffs

Review connections among scheduling, billing, labs, imaging, patient portals, and other practice tools. Work through supported interfaces, vendor requirements, and how failed transfers will be detected and resolved.

05

Workflow & staff adoption

Work with clinical and administrative staff to improve templates, routing, and recurring tasks within the application’s capabilities. Test changes with the people who use them and provide role-based guidance.

06

Security, continuity & support

Coordinate access reviews, vendor escalation, updates, and recovery responsibilities. Connect the work to your compliance program and document how the practice will continue during an outage.

Your platform. A clear plan.

Start with the system your practice uses.

Bring us your EHR / EMR, practice management tools, and the problem you want to solve. We review the platform and its support requirements, then define the work SeriousIT will own and the work that needs your vendor or a specialist.

01

Application ownership

Agree on configuration, vendor access, licensing, and escalation responsibilities.

02

Clinical decisions

Your clinical leads approve care workflows, templates, and changes that affect patient care.

03

Connected technology

Plan devices, identity, connectivity, interfaces, and recovery together.

A practical way forward

From the first conversation
to the everyday work.

Agree on the outcome, prove the workflow, and prepare the people who will use it. Each stage has a clear purpose and an owner.

01Understand the practice

Meet the people doing the work. Map the patient journey, administrative handoffs, information flows, and the problems worth solving first.

02Agree on scope & ownership

Confirm platform capabilities, vendor participation, responsibilities, costs, and success measures. Identify decisions the practice needs to make.

03Configure, connect & validate

Coordinate the agreed work, test with representative scenarios, and have authorized practice staff validate data and workflows before launch.

04Prepare people & go live

Rehearse the transition, train the team, and agree on go/no-go criteria, a fallback plan, and the support coverage needed for launch.

05Support & improve

Resolve launch issues, document the environment, and review recurring problems and workflow improvements with the practice.

Know what improved

Agree on success.
Then measure it.

Choose the measures that matter to your team, establish a baseline, and review what changed after implementation.

  • Duplicate entry
  • Workflow completion time
  • Interface failures
  • Staff confidence
  • Support resolution

Questions worth asking

Before we
get to work.

Can you help with the EHR / EMR we already use?

Yes. Start with the platform, version, and what you want to improve. We review access, vendor support requirements, and the work involved, then confirm where we can help directly and where a vendor or specialist needs to participate.

Do we need to replace our system?

Often, no. Configuration, training, infrastructure, or a broken integration may be the real issue. We assess the current setup first and compare improvements with the cost and disruption of a replacement.

Can you help move records into a new system?

Yes. We coordinate the migration plan with your application vendors and practice leads. The scope includes export options, data mapping, validation, historical access, and an agreed cutover; the platform determines what can transfer.

Can our clinical and administrative tools work together?

Often, yes. We assess supported interfaces, access permissions, licensing, and the information that needs to move. Where a direct integration is unavailable, we explain the limitation and work through a supportable alternative.

How does this connect to HIPAA and security?

We connect the project to your applicable requirements and compliance work: access, vendor responsibilities, agreements, information handling, and continuity. Responsibilities remain explicit across the practice, SeriousIT, and software providers; a software change alone does not establish compliance.

Can you work alongside our internal team or existing vendor?

Yes. We define who owns each part of the work and how issues escalate. Your practice keeps its application relationships, while we help coordinate implementation, the surrounding technology, and the agreed ongoing support.

Can we start with one workflow or location?

Yes. A focused assessment or pilot is often a practical starting point. We agree on the outcome, test with the staff involved, and use the findings to plan wider changes.

Let’s find the next step

What gets in the way of a smoother day?

Tell us about your practice, your software, and the handoffs that need attention. We’ll help work out a practical next step.
